Scorpio Characteristics and Profile

The Scorpion is one intense little creature, with enough poison in its own tail to disable or kill a much larger opponent. But the problem with this kind of built-in biological weaponry is that it must be mastered in order to be used most effectively. You Scorpios can use your “stinger” for self-defense, using your powerful emotional awareness to render your opponent harmless. But there is a sexual component of poisonous tail also, and until Scorpio learns to control those strong urges, Scorpio may find yourself in uncomfortable situations.

Element: Water

The water of Scorpio is fixed and frozen, but it is a mistake to think that ice doesn´t flow. It does flow — and with great power. Think of a glacier, moving so very slowly, yet with enough power to flatten a forest or even a mountain.

Eighth House: Transformation

This can include sexual issues, for they usually involve another person.

Key Planet: Pluto

As the key planet for Scorpio, Pluto is intense and powerful, representing those things that we don´t or can´t understand. And it is from these hidden Plutonic spaces that magical transformations arise.

Scorpio Greatest Strength: Your passion about your feelings

Scorpio Possible Weakness: Need for secrecy can be isolating

Anybody willing to vouch for me? Do I sound like the above description? I think I do. *ponders deep in thought*

Already Gone

Posted in Uncategorized on July 29, 2009 by accidentalpresidency

Remember all the things we wanted
Now all our memories, they’re haunted
We were always meant to say goodbye
Even without fists held high, yeah
Never would have worked out right, yeah
We were never meant for do or die

I didn’t want us to burn out
I didn’t come here to hurt you now
I can’t stop

I want you to know
That it doesn’t matter
Where we take this road
Someone’s gotta go
And I want you to know
You couldn’t have loved me better
But I want you to move on
So I’m already gone

Looking at you makes it harder
But I know that you’ll find another
That doesn’t always make you wanna cry
Started with a perfect kiss
Then we could feel the poison set in
Perfect couldn’t keep this love alive

You know that I love you so
I love you enough to let you go

I want you to know
That it doesn’t matter
Where we take this road
Someone’s gotta go
And I want you to know
You couldn’t have loved me better
But I want you to move on
So I’m already gone

I’m already gone
I’m already gone
You can’t make it feel right
When you know that it’s wrong
I’m already gone
Already gone
There’s no moving on
So I’m already gone

Already gone
Already gone
Already gone, Oooo, oh
Already gone
Already gone
Already gone, yeah

Remember all the things we wanted
Now all our memories, they’re haunted
We were always meant to say goodbye

I want you to know
That it doesn’t matter
Where we take this road
Someone’s gotta go
And I want you to know
You couldn’t have loved me better
But I want you to move on
So I’m already gone

I’m already gone
I’m already gone
You can’t make it feel right
When you know that it’s wrong
I’m already gone
Already gone
There’s no moving on
So I’m already gone…

I.AM.SICK.

That’s right. I’m sick. Have been cursed with diarrhea and fever of approximate 39°C. I have no idea what is the precursor of this cursed situation is. But even sleeping gets me tired. Wrapped with a huge load of lethargy, my movements seem sluggish and my appetite has been reduced to zilch.

Medication taken:

Buscopan (for stomach discomfort)

Lomotil (for diarrhea)

Charcoal (to absorb toxins in stomach)

Diclofenac (painkiller for fever)

LOTS AND LOTS OF TISSUE PAPER.

*rubs hands together*

And here we go again – updating time. Right, let’s pick the story up from Saturday shall we?

I met up with Jocelyn on Saturday in the afternoon around 4 ish for a late lunch/early dinner appointment where we ate at Ichiban Boshi at Plaza Singapura. Was not really in an eating mood so did not have much. The reason why we were in the mall in the first place was because I was there to add another Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen figure to my collection from Movie Replica. And this time it is Jolt, the Chevrolet Volt. Will post pictures once I have taken them tomorrow during the day.

So then we walked around in town, went and looked at the new mall, Ion – was big, another Paragon. Big brands, big spaces, many people, few buyers. Walked around a bit more and eventually sent her off at Dhoby Ghaut station where she headed back to Hougang and I made my way to Chinatown. Once there, I slowly, painstakingly made my way to Backstage as it was only 11pm and the guys – Jason and Maize – were only gonna reace 45 minutes later.

Time. Did. Not. Move.

After a lifetime, they finally showed up and we had one drink there, and it was sufficient to make us tipsy. I mean, all of us were not in in the scene for close to a month. Jason and I were in Europe and Maize, well, he doesn’t really venture to the playgrounds without us. So that meant us strutting our stuff, sashaying, bitching, laughing, rolling our way to Tantric. And there was when we hit PARTY MOOD. Let’s see, a few Gin Tonics, a few Long Island Teas and we were shaking our sorry asses all over the dance floor. Was much needed, actually, the reunion. Laughed a lot, went down the emotional road occassionally, hugged a lot, and well, you know, after 5 long years after knowing them, I must say I’m really glad to have them as my closest friends, among some. I don’t have many friends, but the few that I have ROCK MY WORLD.

Had supper at 4:30am at a nearby 24hour Indian stall (read: I was not very happy). But hunger beckons fatty food. We finally made our way back home at 5:30am, where Jason and I shared a cab and he dropped me off at Shelford. I showered with eyes half open and woke up the next day at 9:00pm. Yes people, you read right. I slept and woke up at NIGHT.

And that my avid readers, was my Saturday.

Till next time.

The results for my first year of studies in Pharaceutical Management has arrived. And I am elated when I received them! Please refer to pictures below:

That’s right! Yours truly attained a distinction!

On a less lighter note, I have decided to transfer courses. So instead of BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Management, I am now currently taking BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences. The basis of this decision was the eternal loathe for the business modules that are intergrated in my former course (30%). Hate thus leads to not so brilliant grades which thus leads to a lower category honours grade at the end of my course which is something I am unable or not willing to compromise. or jeapordize. So people, that means, I have 2 more years to go and will only be graduating in November 2011. Oh well.

Time flies right? I hope it does, or I might have to kick it on its ass.

The Pseudo Birthday

So it came – my pseudo birthday.

22 July

That was the date that was set by Michael for my pseudo birthday. I guess everybody now would be wondering, ‘what the heck is a pseudo birthday?’ Well, it all stemmed off a simple lie. Michael met me when I was at the young, fragile, tender age of 17. However, technically, I was 18 by YEAR that fateful year of 2004. But since he met me in August, before my real birthday on November 22nd, I was still 17 by MONTH.

And he had to introduce me to his best friend, Angela to blanket confidentiality. And so, since he was too embarrassed to introduce her to his boyfirend who happened to be a MINOR, he made up a fake birthday PLUS he made me one year older. And that was how it began. And we’re alls till living the lie for a good 5 years now.

So anyway, explanation aside, it was actually a really good birthday celebration despite its fake cause. It was a party of 4 – Angela, JP, Martina and me, hosted by Angela at her place in Shelford, Bukit Timah. I reached her place at about 7:00pm and had champagne whilst updating each other on our lives with a cigarette in handl. Before long, the other guests arrived and we ordered pizzas from Spizza, which by the way, is the best pizza place in my opinion. Really great pizzas, and a huge variety from A to Z. I mean literally, they have 26 choices of pizzas in accordance to the letters of the alphabets. I had Vittoria – chorizo (Italian spicy sausage) with mushrooms and chilli, Angela had Sofia – seafood, JP had Gina – olives and mozarella and Martina had Olivia – spicy salami and chilli.

More champagne, more white wine, more red wine, more cigarettes and soon we were tipsy! And then the cake came, had Black Forest Cake with Cherry liquer in it. YUMMY! And my shared present from all of them was…… $150 voucher for Club 21! Jubilation! Time to get meself a new Emporio Armani wallet! We made a move at about 11:30pm where we bid farewell to Angela, and Martina went back home while JP and me went over to Tantric for a couple of drinks.

At Tantric, we met a common friend of ours, a tennis coach, Jonathan. Chinese dude, below average looking, irritating, skinny… You get my disdain. Talked a lot, drank a lot, and I got drunk. Naturally. Went home, and on the cab ride home, I called Mike and cried. Being drunk always pushes me down to emotional road, where mere thoughts or recollections can send me producing enough tears to fill Lake Toba. He hushed me and consoled me and promised to call me once he is done with work.

Once home, I had to Skype with Michael where again I cried, and complained, and cried some more. Both boyfriends are so far away. I was immensely frustrated. I still am. Sigh. However, our Skype session did not last very long, as he convinced me to lie down in bed and get some rest. He told me he loved me and he will talk to me the next day when I am sober.  I grudgingly obliged and put myself on the bed while the room started spinning and I tried hard not to regurgitate the pizza and the cake. And before I knew it, I was asleep.

Today when I woke up, I realized that Mike texted me saying “I decided not to call as I want u 2 rest my dear. Don’t be stubborn. Sleep and I will talk to you 2mrw. LU. Sleep well sweetheart.” I smiled at the uncanny similarity between his words and Michael’s. Looks like both boyfriends share the same thinking.

I miss him.

More than I miss him.
